Commencement 2026

Graduates toss their caps in the air during the commencement ceremony at Eagle Stadium

We commend the Class of 2026 and their families for a fantastic school year. You will soon complete your secondary education, and the following information should be helpful in planning the remaining weeks of school. Receiving this information does not confirm your graduation (final grades and attendance will be taken into consideration). This is intended to update you of the calendar of events and responsibilities as your high school career comes to a successful conclusion.

Ceremony

Commencement 2026 will take place at South Park's Eagle Stadium on Thursday, June 4 at 7:30 p.m. with bleacher seating on a first-come, first-seated basis.  Tickets are not required. The Class of 2026 is to report to the stadium by 6:15 p.m. for line up.

(Please note that the high school changed the time for this year's Commencement Ceremony after the district's calendar was printed and sent to families.)

Should inclement weather prevent the outdoor ceremony from taking place, the first rain date would be Friday, June 5 at 6:30 p.m. The second rain date would be Saturday, June 6 at 11 a.m. If a weather-related postponement be necessary, we will notify families via phone and email of the postponement of that evening’s ceremony by 3 p.m.

The ceremony will be live streamed on YouTube, and a link will be shared with families and posted on our website the day of the ceremony.

Graduates who are wearing a white gown, please wear light colored clothing that will not show through the white robe with light colored shoes.  Students who will be wearing a blue gown, please be sure to wear dark clothing and dark shoes.  No jeans, flip-flops or tennis shoes.  Students who are inappropriately dressed will not participate in Commencement.
