S.P.E.A. FUTURE TEACHER SCHOLARSHIP
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS NECESSARY TO APPLY:
You must be a graduating senior from South Park High School.
You must be planning to enter the field of education.
You must submit your application via email to Mr. Surovchak.
All completed applications must be submitted to Mr. Surovchak by Wednesday, April 24 at 4:00 PM. Applications should be downloaded and opened in Microsoft Word or Google Docs, completed, and sent back to or shared with [email protected] as a document. Type all responses in the gray boxes if using Microsoft Word, or after the colon in Google Docs. Each program will automatically space the document based on your responses. Mr. Surovchak will fill in the code number and date received. When sending the email, include your name in the subject line. You will receive an email verification from Mr. Surovchak. If you do not, please follow up with an email to assure that the application was received.
All information presented on the application must be correct. Applications and essays must be typed, and MUST be your own authentic work. Any essay thought to be the work of another person may invalidate the entire application.
DO NOT put your name anywhere on your application. Mr. Surovchak will assign you a code number instead. Also, the Date Received line will be filled in by Mr. Surovchak.
Failure to follow these guidelines may invalidate your application.
A panel of teachers from all grade levels will review the applications and the scholarship will be awarded at the end of the school year.
